So, I was blessed in college with a wonderful roommate, who I would not have known, had I not gone to Hope College. Sarah is one of those true friends. Those friends that make you love life more, laugh harder at mistakes made, and whom you want to hang out with all the time - one of those kinds of friends. Well, we like to hang out, and take pictures. I took a few of her and she kindly took a few of me :) Enjoy the weird February weather with snow on the bridges, and sun in the air. And don't bright, colorful scarves just make everything better! Thanks Jennifer Visser for letting us borrow a bunch of your scarves!

The sun was shining and it was warmer than usual when Terra arrived at my house. She hopped in my car and we headed off to Riley Trails to take some pictures. The drive was picturesque, the conversation even more delightful. You see, Terra is one of those people you want everyone to know. She is sweet, caring, tender, loving, and genuine. Her smile beams and she is beautiful on the inside and outside.
I was glad we were able to spend time together, although our time outdoors did not last long. Soon the clouds of Michigan rolled in and we caught ourselves bringing in equipment, while holding an umbrella, and avoiding mud puddles - smiling and chatting the whole time. We came inside to finish the shoot and get warm at our wonderful local coffeeshop, JP's. I was really excited to take pictures of Terra that Wednesday. For not only was she a great friend, but she is up to great things and that always gets me excited. She was only back for a few months so I wanted to be sure and catch her while she was back. You see, Terra spends most of her time, currently, over in Zambia. She works with a community organization over there and is helping orphans through Africa's Child as well. Her heart beats for others and it aches for community to be restored. Thanks for letting me photograph you, my beautiful friend! God bless your travels and may you go wherever He will take you. |
